Have you ever wanted to design a T-shirt and see it worn on over a hundred people? Here’s your chance!
Design a T-shirt for XLH Day 2024 in Raleigh North Carolina.
The XLH Network wants to display the artistic talents of our community as part of XLH Day 2024. We invite individuals impacted by XLH and related disorders to contribute. Winning artist will receive 2 nights free hotel at XLH Day (up to 4 people per room), and up to 4 paid registration fees. Be creative! It can be something related to North Carolina, something about XLH, or whatever you want! See full rules below:
XLH DAY T-Shirt Art Contest Rules
Please read through the contest rules, eligibility requirements, and full submission guidelines below:
Eligibility:

Artists must be 18 years or older, or have a parent sign the artwork on their behalf.

Artist must directly be impacted by XLH or a related disorder such as TIO. This includes, but is not limited to:
-
Individuals living with XLH.

Caregivers providing direct support to an individual with XLH.

Staff and board members of the XLH Network, and their families, are not eligible to submit artwork for this contest.

This contest is void where prohibited by law.
Originality:
-
Each submission must be an original and unpublished work created by the participant.

Participants agree that their design is intended solely for the purpose of this contest and has n ot been used elsewhere.

Submissions should not have been previously published or used in any other contests or platforms.

Submissions that appear to be endorsements of a particular rare disease treatment or therapy will be disqualified.

Submissions must not contain, incorporate, or otherwise use any content, material, element, or logos owned by a third party or entity.

Participants should ensure that their designs are free from any copyright or intellectual property violations.
Submission Guidelines:

Each artist is permitted to submit one (1) design.

Designs to be submitted in digital format. (See accepted file types and sizes below.)

Accepted Formats:
-
Designs must be submitted in digital format.
-
Submissions must be in a two-dimensional format.
-
Designs cannot include videos, GIFs, or any other three-dimensional elements.
-
Acceptable file formats include EPS, JPEG, PNG.
-
Submissions should be high resolution to ensure clarity and print quality.
-
A minimum resolution of 300 DPI is required.
-
The submission is two-dimensional and scannable (e.g., no videos or GIFs).
-
Color mode: Designs must be set to CMYK.
-
File size: not to exceed 25MB.

Judging Criteria:

Each judge will score submissions independently, and the final scores will be compiled to determine the winning designs.

Scoring System: Judges will score submissions on a scale of 1 to 5 in each category, with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest.

Designs will be judged based on their ability to effectively capture and convey the essence of the theme and visual appeal.

Judges will not have access to artist’s names so that they may remain objective and impartial.

Submissions must be received through the online submission form by July 31st, 2024 at 11:59 pm Eastern Time.

Late submissions will not be considered.
Notification:
Winners will be notified by email on 8/15/2024. Winner must respond within 3 days, or the runner-up will be selected.
